Fantasy Baseball Edge is currently in beta. This policy reflects our current, limited data practices and will be expanded as the site adds features (such as user accounts or a paid subscription). Sections marked as pending will be completed as our business formalizes.

Welcome to Fantasy Baseball Edge (the “Site”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Site. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms.

This is an early-stage version of these Terms, published while the Site offers free content only (no user accounts, no paid subscriptions). We will revise these Terms substantially before introducing accounts or paid features, and will update the date above when that happens. The version in effect is always the one posted on this page.

1. Who We Are

Fantasy Baseball Edge is an independent fantasy baseball analytics site providing player rankings, ratings, and related content. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by MLB, the MLBPA, or any individual MLB club. All team names, player names, and related marks are the property of their respective owners and are used descriptively, not to suggest affiliation.

2. The Content We Provide

The Site publishes original analysis, including composite player ratings (“OVR”), skill grades, “hottest hitters” and “most overlooked” rankings, and related commentary. This content:

  • Is our own independent analysis and opinion, derived in part from publicly available statistics (including Statcast data via Baseball Savant) and our own methodology, described on our Explainer page.
  • Is not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or current. Rankings and grades can and will change as new data becomes available, and may contain errors.
  • Is provided for entertainment and informational purposes only and does not constitute professional, financial, or betting advice of any kind. Any decisions you make in your fantasy leagues, drafts, or elsewhere based on this content are made at your own discretion and risk.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, systematically extract, republish, or resell our rankings, ratings, or written content without our prior written permission. Reasonable personal use (viewing, screenshotting for personal discussion, sharing individual links) is welcome and encouraged.
  • Use automated tools to access the Site in a way that places excessive load on it.
  • Misrepresent our content as your own, or as officially affiliated with MLB or any MLB club.
  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose.

4. Newsletter

If you sign up for our email newsletter, your use of that feature is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your email address. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email we send.

5. No Accounts or Payments (Currently)

As of this version of these Terms, the Site does not offer user accounts or paid subscriptions. Any features described elsewhere on the Site as “not yet active” (such as a watchlist requiring login) are not currently functional. When we introduce accounts or paid features, these Terms will be updated to include the relevant account, billing, and cancellation terms before those features go live.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any rankings, grades, or analysis will be accurate or achieve any particular result in your fantasy leagues.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fantasy Baseball Edge will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its content, including but not limited to fantasy league losses, missed opportunities, or decisions made based on our rankings or analysis.

8. Changes to the Site and These Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time. We may update these Terms as the Site evolves; material changes will be noted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.

9. Governing Law
